The operations of renting have suffered a very important growth in the last years. The Spanish market is too far with respect the major markets like United Kingdom, and France.The present paper offers a global vision of the renting, as well as, a financial analysis of the cost of this operation, comparing it besides with a traditional borrowing. In the second part,the evolution of this concept in Europe is studied, outlying the case of the Spanish market.
